ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE DETAILS

Please plan to arrive on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 7th as retreat activities will begin in the early evening with a welcome dinner that will combine our limited partners and you. On day two, we have a full day planned which will run well into the evening of Wednesday, November 8. On our third and final day, Thursday, November 9th, we will conclude in the early afternoon, which will allow for departures by 1pm. Of course, it is our hope that you will be able to participate fully in the entire retreat, so please plan your travel accordingly.

The retreat will be held at the Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa, located at 5921 Valencia Circle, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067

WEATHER

Average temperatures in Rancho Santa Fe during the month of November range between a high of 72 degrees and a low of 50 degrees. It is rarely above 82 degrees, or below 45 degrees at this time of year.

ATTIRE

This event is meant to be resort casual. We will spend the majority of our time together outdoors. Due to lower temperatures in the evenings, we recommend that you bring a sweater or jacket.

The closest airport to Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa is the San Diego International Airport (SAN), located approximately 25 miles (30 to 40 minutes) from the resort. 


Private Air Travel

The Rancho Valencia Resort, while picturesque, is somewhat remote. As such the wait for ride sharing apps can be excessive (on the order of 30 minutes or longer depending on time of day.) When departing the resort, we strongly encourage pre-scheduling your pick up time to ensure you are not delayed. Please let our team know if we can assist you in any way.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Directions from San Diego International Airport (all flights from the US mainland)

  1. Please allow 30 to 40 minutes drive time.

  2. Take Interstate 5 north, 15.9 miles. Exit at Del Mar Heights Road, turn right, 0.6 miles.

  3. Turn left at El Camino Real, 1.9 miles.

  4. Turn right at San Dieguito Road, 2.7 miles.

  5. Turn right at Rancho Diegueno Road.

  6. Turn left (immediately) at Rancho Valencia Road, 0.5 miles.

  7. Turn left at Rancho Valencia Drive, 0.4 miles.

PARKING

We will cover your daily resort fee, which includes overnight parking.
